ON PROGRESS

A bad ship would not be named after a Japanese stratovolcano. In the case of Kaimon, the name is entirely justified. This large cruiser wreaks havoc with its eight 356mm main guns, which have a long firing range and impressive shell damage. The "Main Battery Reload Booster" will help you set decks (and other things) on fire more often, or allow you to land more citadels on unfortunate targets.

Thanks to its 35mm thick mid-hull plating and 35mm thick deck armor, this cruiser can confidently deflect most HE and AP shells when deployed in a diamond configuration. Kaimon also offers an excellent selection of consumables.

Historical Background Shortly before World War II, Japan learned that the United States had begun designing Alaska-class large cruisers. Almost immediately, Japanese shipbuilders began developing a ship capable of countering American cruisers. The project received the designation B-65, which classified it as a battlecruiser according to Japanese classification. Its design featured an architecture similar to the Yamato-class battleships, and one of the design versions featured six 356mm guns in three turrets. Construction of the ships was canceled shortly after the Battle of Midway.

Gameplay Test

This ship is similar to Yoshino in terms of gameplay, but the difference is that this ship does not have torpedoes. However, thanks to its 356mm guns, this ship is very easy to set enemies on fire. Also, what makes this ship very strong is the availability of the Main Battery Reload Booster consumable, which will deal devastating damage to enemies. I played this Kaimon ship in the early minutes of the match at a safe distance, which is long-range shooting, but in the middle of the match, I would remain as support while pushing closer to the enemy area, and in the final minutes of the battle, I pushed fully to secure the victory.
